Currently writing my psychology EE on memory and I'm lost. Can anyone tell me anything about memory and it's reliability? Or even about Elizabeth Loftus? Plz it would be a great help

I only know that Elizabeth Loftus has been the leading the opposition to eye witness testimony. It is notoriously unreliable, but yet juries still believe it to be reliable. She talks about this in an episode of Brain Games. You can find it on YouTube and I think Netflix.

I’m also doing my EE on the reliability of memory! How’d you do?

I think you could include the study by Glanzer and Cunitz (1966) about serial position effect - primacy and recency effect. Also the study by Craik and Tulving (1975) the criticism of multi-store memory model and how easily we can influence the memory
