I want to do IBDP because idk why, I think it is because of the memes that have come out of it and I would like to experience that first hand lol. Either way, do I need to take any courses or anything to be qualified to do the IBDP??? I have little knowledge on pre IB, and is it possible to switch schools right before Junior to do the IB?? My school locally right now does not have IB, so I will need to switch schools...any tips on this switch? Do I need to qualify for something before IB? I feel like entering into the IB like I know nothing about it and like a naive kid, so yeahhhhh please help

Sorry for the horrible grammar and stuff I have no idea how to word this well

Yeah yeah here is a clearer version I guess that I did not write at 3 am lol

Don't worry I have more logical reasons then memes, if I didn't then I wouldn't have even thought about this. I have read a lot of the things on the website, like the IBDP section, TOK, CAS, IA, and I read the PowerPoint of the school with the IB program of what you have to do to join IB. I'm still insure of if you need to do something before IB, like do you have to do all AP courses before hand? Do you have to take some pre IB course? That is the question I'm asking

Sorry from the unclarity from the last question. But memes did influence my want to join the IB program. And the TOK.

Honestly, I'd have a better reason to do IB than to experience memes first-hand. Are you even familiar with the program outside those anecdotes? Before blindly committing, asses yourself in suitability with its outlines. It really only facilitates very certain people.

Very true. It's a very difficult program, so unless you're committed to spend all your day studying don't enter the programme.

Yeah I know I know, I should go in just because of memes. The more logical side is because I want to go for an good college or something and I do actually want to do it because of the work load and stuff. I am in all the advanced stuff at our school, so might as well try...

I'm doing the IB right now and i didn't have to take any preIB courses beforehand or anything... I did need to have good grades un the previous school years because there are few spots available and only the people with the best grades get in. But of course this can change from one school to another

I think the IB program is great! It's a lot of work but if you actually do it you'll be fine! And you don't have to have a "valid" reason to do it. I didn't really have a reason to join when I did
