For my Psychology IA, I decided to replicate Anderson and Pichert’s study on schema theory. I’ve gathered all my data, but since it was a mixed design (Independent Measures and Repeated Measures), I have no idea what to do for the math part of the assessment. The coursebook only offers information about the statistical methods that can be used for either independent measures design OR repeated measures design. Is there anything I can use for a mixed design?
Does anyone have any ideas?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you in advance!

I’d suggest to use the “Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test” Overall.
But if this doesn’t seem to work then for the participants that were given the same schema as before the ‘distraction break’ (the participant with independent measure), use the
“Mann-Whitney U test”

There are many videos online which explain how to carry out these tests and you might even find websites that do the test for you but just remember to include sample calculations for better marks.
