Hi guys, so after hard work in the IB, I’ve been accepted to my dream university and I’m pretty happy!!

The thing is that it’s very competitive and I want to make sure that when I begin, I’ll be able to
maintain my spot. Obviously, apart from keeping my grades up, what can I do?

This is because I know some people who were straight A (some B’s) students but were kicked out because they weren’t as competitive as the other students.

Please, I would really appreciate it if you guys gave me some suggestions.

Thanks !!

I would start with showing a lot of interest in class, not necessarily by always answering if you’re not comfortable in class. Talk to your professors, attend after school seminars etc anything that can enhance your knowledge on your studies. Do some other things outside of academics too, cuz you dont want go drown yourself. And I know this sounds cheesy, but just be yourself and if the uni has the desire to kick you out at the end of the day thats their loss, not yours. I wouldnt worry about it too much, if you love what you do and have a genuine interest for your subjects your teachers will notice this and you’ll be fine!!
