So for this unit, you will need to have studied three texts/bodies of work. You will have 20 minutes before the IOC to analyze an extract of one of those works. After the 20 minutes are gone, you will have to do an eight-minute commentary, followed by two minutes of questioning on the commentary. Immediately after, you will have a 10-minute discussion on any work, excluding the one the extract came from, where the teacher will ask you questions about the work which you have to elaborate upon. If you would like more info, here's the official IB website and what they have to say: https://ibpublishing.ibo.org/live-exist/rest/app/tsm.xql?doc=d_1_a1lan_tsm_1105_1a_e&part=2&chapter=10. Hope this helps :)

Also, you may want to prepare an analysis in advance for the eight-minute commentary so that when the time comes to prepare, you can focus more on how you're going to present your information in order to show the most understanding. For the ten-minute commentary, I would make sure that you go over all the main themes of the work so that you're at least slightly prepared for whatever comes your way. Also, prepare a few multi-functional quotes for each work in order to demonstrate excellent knowledge and understanding of the work discussed. Overall, whenever, your teacher asks you questions, jot down the keywords so that you can assure that you are always directly answering the question and not going somewhere else.
