How bad is taking 4hl? I need to chose and i’ve got a big problem. in my school not gonna be physics SL, the only subject from group 4 on sl will be chemistry and i am not really good at it. So instead of taking physics on sl I want to take it on HL. Then I will have: Lit SL, Eng B HL, Math HL, physics HL, geo HL and economic SL. is it possible to alive in IB with that subjects?

I’m taking 4 HL’s but mine are quite different:
-HL Visual Arts
-HL Lit and Lang
-HL Biology
-HL History

I’ve heard from friends that taking HL Math and Physics can be really
Challenging. I think choose what you think is right for you. But also be aware that IB can be time consuming. You know yourself better than anyone else.

Why not take geo SL instead of HL?

I take 4HLs and it’s challenging but possible. If you feel like you’re up for it then do it. You have nothing to lose!

I’m also taking 4 HLs

- HL English A
- HL Swedish A
- HL Psychology
- HL History

I’m not gonna lie, it’s quite challenging with a heavy workload but if you’re up for it and study a lot you should be able to handle it!

I don’t personally take 4 HLs but I have friends who do, and in my opinion if you really feel like you can do it go ahead. You can always drop your most difficult subject if you can’t handle it, but just know that by doing that you could have wasted so much time learning content you didn’t need to know (HL content)
