Hey guys, so I’m stressed out as usual, and really need some help and clarification.
So I’m taking my exam for Spanish this year (SL) and my teacher has no idea what she’s doing, and none of my past IB/IS teachers have either (they’ve all been new to IB and didn’t really tell us about anything except for the oral test) and our IA is due Friday.
I’ve already written a version of it, but hate it (I didn’t even know it was my IA until recently) and want to redo it, but the more information my teacher gives us the more confused I get.
So, what the heck do we do on our IA?! Do we need to state a research question? Are we supposed to include quotes or paraphrase?Heck, I can’t even figure out how many words it’s supposed to be (is it 400 w/ or w/o the abstract/rationale?)
Also, our teacher keeps talking about the text type of our paper (like an email, blog post, etc.) which I’ve done practice on before, but does anyone know which ones IB might grade more/less harshly?
So yeah, I’m super confused and stressed and just want to pass the IB, so any help at all would be amazing. If anything stopped me from getting my diploma it would be Spanish, and rightfully so.
Also (this may be a bit too much to ask looking at the rant above) does anyone know where I can find resources of past papers? I know the IB has released EE examples before but for the life of me I can’t figure out where any of them are coming from.
Anyways, wish me luck :,)
Edit: When going through the syllabus I figured out some of the questions and deleted them
