My TOK teacher explains it like this ‘ a knowledge question is a question that makes you think about how you know something or how you gain knowledge it has to be a general open ended question that makes you think about how you know something ‘ @vkress

It is a general question; it shouldn't be focused on a particular situation. It's open; you shouldn't be able to get an answer yes or no.... that's why it is so popular the use of "to what extent...". It must have TOK terms, I would suggest using the word "knowledge" in an explicit way.
