Hi everyone, so I’m in Year 2 right now and picking my SLs and HLs next month. I take Literature, History (Europe), Spanish, Econ, chemistry, and math SL. I had previously decided to do lit Spanish and Econ as my HLs, but my history teacher said that my school prepares us really well for history and that anyone could take HL and get an easy 4 or 5. I really don’t like history and hate the idea of writing for 2.5 hours, but if everyone has passed before I feel like it shouldn’t be a problem for me. I have all As in my HL courses as well so I’d be approved to do that. Or my other option since I’m considering going into healthcare is to take Chem HL to get science credit, in this case I’d drop one of my three HLs because of the workload. Sorry for the long post but any advice is appreciated!

I started DP2 some weeks ago and I have 4 HLs (English A lang + lit, psychology, biology, chemistry) and it’s completely doable. The only annoying part is that I have more lessons than some of my friends... however, you’re still the person who should decide whether or not to have history HL or SL, not your teacher
