Hey guys,
I don’t know if it was just me, but the paper 1 this year was so much harder than the previous years’ exams. I felt like I didn’t understand how to solve most of the questions and also ran out of time. My whole classmates thought the same as well.
How did it go for you guys, regarding P1 and all of the Physics exams in general?

P1 was ok, but paper 2 hard

P1 was ok if you knew the subject well, and I mean very well. Paper 2 needed strong knowledge of physics and maths and was harder than usual. Grade boundaries for both papers will most likely fall to about 60% for a 7.

Paper 3 was pretty straightforward and just needed explicitly adequate knowledge of the whole option (My option was option B, Engineering Physics),

I don’t know why, but I found P1 so much harder than P2! Probably because I didn’t understand the physics concepts by heart, and I think I panicked a lot more due to me being nervous and all. I found Paper 2 very easy, I think I managed to answer all questions thoroughly. I felt like Paper 2 was basically finding an equation in the data booklet to substitute the given values from the question to calculate the answers. I agree that P3 was straightforward as well; mine was Astrophysics D.
