so I choose the great gatsby as the book I want to analyze. I needed a not broad research question which is about how money reflect on the social status

Hi,
I think you should consider choosing a "to what extent"-based question, just so you can analyze the writer's techniques more deeply.

I agree with anon^ but I also think you should reconsider your book choice. My supervisors were very clear with that you should not choose a book that is a famous literary work. Imagine how many essays and scriptures there are about the great gatsby and imagine whoever is correcting it reading the 8th ee on tgg for the day. You want to be the odd one out, do something special. You want the supervisor/examiner/correcting human to look at you ee and get hyped bc he/she has never read anything like it before.

But I don’t know what to choose and this book has everything analyzed which makes it easier for me to do.

Yes I can understand that, and use it if you want to but because everything already exists online it’ll be really hard for you to get a good grade since the examiners know that you might just have copied it from another site
